Penkridge Victorian Christmas Market
Penkridge Victorian Christmas Market is an annual event that everyone looks forward to and truly marks the start of the Festive Season! This year it will be taking place on Friday 25 November from 5pm to 9pm on the site of Penkridge Market and admission to the event is free!
With a wide selection of craft stalls, fabulous food and drink, as well as plenty of entertainment, what better way of doing all of your Christmas shopping!
There will be a wide range of crafts from glass-beaded jewellery to fabric handbags, rag dolls and wooden toys. With such a variety of unique gifts available, visitors will be able to find something for everyone... even that really difficult person; you never know what to buy!
In addition to all these lovely crafts, there will be the chance to sample local delicacies such as savoury scotch eggs, speciality cheeses, jams, chutneys and preserves. And if that’s not enough to satisfy your appetite there will be a wide variety of refreshments available, including a hog roast; savoury and sweet crepes; burgers; hot dogs; candy floss, roast chestnuts and doughnuts to name but a few!
The Old Deanery Farm Cafe will also be open serving hot drinks and festive food.
As well as all this fabulous food and drink, Father Christmas will be making an extra-special guest appearance helped by his good friends in the Round Table so that children (and their parents of course!) will be able to tell him just how good they have been this year! There will be other attractions such as Arthur's Fun Fair; the Staffordshire fire engine; Bridgtown Concert Band and Marshbrook Choir singing Carols.
Penkridge Market is just 7 miles from Stafford; 7 miles from Cannock and 10 miles from Wolverhampton and is easily accessible from the A449, A5 and M6 (junction 12).
