The new HEART of ENGLAND fine foods (HEFF) Press Agency has been created to help you get noticed! As a HEFF member you can take advantage of specialist food and drink industry PR at competitive rates.
The HEFF Press Agency has a substantial database of regional media contacts as well as contacts on national food and drink trade and consumer publications to give your press release the best chance of getting in front of the right people and your business or product being promoted.
We have created a range of press release packages for you to choose from depending on the level of PR you require. We also have the free HEFF Press Advice Line to help you on your way and the HEFF Press Wire if it’s assistance with distribution and press monitoring that you need.
Free HEFF Press Advice Line
Do you just need a bit of guidance about how to approach the media? Or the pros and cons of editorial versus advertising? Or maybe some advice on what makes a story? Then call the HEFF Press Advice Line! We’ll try to answer your questions as best we can and put you on the right track.

Occasional
Cost: £795 (+ VAT)
This package consists of three pre-arranged press releases throughout the year.

Frequent
Cost: £2,285 (+ VAT)
This package is for those businesses which require more frequent press coverage. The package includes nine press releases a year.

* The HEFF media database is a comprehensive database of local media and national trade and consumer publications. There is an option to upgrade this circulation via the HEFF Press Wire so your press release is sent out through a national database of staff writers and freelance journalists which will increase your chances of national coverage.
HEFF Press Wire
The HEFF Press Wire is a service designed for those who have written a press release but need help getting it in front of the right people and monitoring its success. You can mix and match the services below to suit you and your story.

* The HEFF media database is a comprehensive database of local media and national trade and consumer publications.
** We can send your press release via an external international media database. This is accessed through HEFF’s own subscription and is a pay per use service which will increase your chances of national coverage. Sending through this database will put your press release in front of thousands of staff journalists and freelances in the UK and internationally who have opted to receive food and drink related press releases. HEFF does not have separate access to these contacts.
*** HEFF subscribes to a media monitoring and clippings service and can add your business to the search terms to receive your clippings. We can tell you which publications your story has been in, when, page number, circulation and media value. The clippings cannot be sent to you because of copyright restrictions but we will present you with a full coverage report and summary.
Photography
A member of the HEFF Press Agency can take standard press photographs if required on their visits with the Occasional and Frequent packages. We can also arrange a professional photo shoot on your behalf with a specialist food photographer. Please enquire for costs.
Copywriting
POA depending on word count.
The HEFF Press Agency is also available to write features, copy for secured editorial, marketing literature and website content.
