HEFF Hygiene and Food Safety Standard
The HEFF Hygiene & Food Safety Standard was commissioned by HEFF to provide producers with a structured and affordable standard for the management and routine assessment of hygiene and food safety within their business. Unless an equivalent accreditation is held, the HEFF Hygiene and Food Safety Standard is a mandatory requirement for food producing businesses before they can take part in any HEFF supply chain work.
Support to achieve the standard is provided by HEFF and the third party appointed to audit it. The Standard has been recognised by a number of regional and national buying groups.
