TASTE kitchen

The TASTE kitchen, set within Shropshire Food Enterprise Centre, is a modern and friendly café restaurant which doubles as a demonstration and development kitchen.

We are open for breakfast, coffee and cake, lunch or afternoon tea and everything on the menu is locally grown, reared or sourced - even down to the Shropshire roasted and blended tea and coffee! The open plan kitchen means that you can watch the chefs preparing your food whilst you enjoy the relaxed surroundings and find out about our local food and drink producers from the information boards and screens.

The TASTE kitchen is open from 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Saturdays. There is usually no need to book, however there are occasions when we have events on, so it may be best to call us so that we can talk you through the menu and have your table ready for you.

We have a programme of events from learn over lunch cookery demonstrations and breadmaking courses to tutored breakfasts and chocolate workshops. There are also opportunities for you to get involved in consumer research to assist our producers with product development and market feedback
