TASTE kitchen

The TASTE kitchen is set within the brand new Shropshire Food Enterprise Centre in Shrewsbury and has a modern and friendly feel.

Our aim is to promote the best of the region’s produce so everything we use is locally sourced and the open kitchen means you can chat to our chef as he prepares your food. Anyone is welcome to call in for breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake, the TASTE kitchen is open for food from 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

Designed to double as a demonstration kitchen, there is a programme of events that takes place throughout the year. We have daytime, evening and weekend events which range from tutored breakfasts, learn over lunch events, hands on cookery courses, evening tasting menu events as well as producer tutorials and cookery demonstrations from our region's finest chefs.

There are also opportunities for you to get involved in TASTE panels to inform and assist our producers with product development and market feedback.
