Shropshire Sailing Club AGM
It was an ideal venue for our AGM, we had a record attendance which was important as we had a lot to discuss and the conference room was perfect.
Everyone enjoyed the cookery demonstration as well as the meal, and the HEFF team were very helpful and accommodating of some last minute changes.
If you are looking for a venue for a club event and want to add some extra interest to the evening then the Taste Kitchen at the SFEC should be on your shortlist.

I personally thoroughly enjoyed my day with you and was bursting with all the information that was gleaned over the day. Sheila was a joy, a relaxed and intuitive teacher who shared her love and knowledge of baking unstintingly. She changed my perception of bread making completely with her relaxed approach and I can't wait to put her teaching into practise. My family (the visitors who ate all the bread!) thought it was wonderful and my husband in particular was very impressed and is looking forward to my making some more especially the cinnamon buns (the toffee topping did it!).
The lunch was lovely and compliments must go to your chef. The rest of the staff were also very friendly which made the whole atmosphere and experience extremely relaxed but competent. Congratulations and thanks to all.

Bread Making with Sheila Sager of Shrewsbury Bakehouse
Although I have been baking bread for about ten years and have read extensively about bread and baking I was so pleased that I attended the baking class last Friday. Sheila was an expert teacher, her explanations and her demonstrations of the techniques in kneading and shaping were much superior to anything I have ever read. As result of my experiences the breads I have baked since the course are much better and not unalike the products which are sold by The Shrewsbury Bakehouse, in appearance and taste.
I am not sure wether feedback forms were avalable at the end of the day, if they were not, I think they should. I will certainly reccomend this course to anyone.

Valentines' Collect and Cook: I just want to tell you how much we enjoyed the food - the duck liver paté, pork and chicken were absolutely delightful. We were so full that we didn't manage dessert but we will be rounding off tonight's meal with it.
