About Food and Drink Insights
Food and Drink Insights is an information service for food and drink producers and small retailers within the West Midlands region. The service aims to give smaller food and drink companies in the region greater access to valuable information relating to consumer trends, food technology research and start-up advice. This information can be used to develop business and marketing plans as well as supporting funding applications. Farm shops, delis and small independent retailers can also use the service to keep abreast of trends in regional food and drink and research shopper demand for new products.
Food and Drink Insights also runs a schedule of ‘bite-size’ training workshops throughout the year covering a variety of subjects relevant to the needs of small food and drink companies. Previous workshops have covered: Food Safety & Legislation, Packaging & Labelling, Planning & Production, Basic Finance, New Product Development, Marketing and Merchandising.
